The fairy Tales of Science

                       Fairy Tales of Science

Emerson says that science surpasses the miracle of mythology. Truth has always been stranger than fiction. But in no department of human knowledge, has this been more so as in the case of science because it penetrates the Constitution of nature and has unfolded the mystery.
Science has mapped the whole universe revealing the wonderful harmony that runs through the works of God. The recent discovery of Black-hole has added to human knowledge. It is believed that all planets and stars will change themselves into black-holes and the universe will be recognized.
Science has brought the improvement within tha realm of the possible Heart can be transplanted. Artificial hands, feet, kidney, etc. are fitted in the human body. The work of human brain is done with the help of computers and calculators. It has helped man to land upon the moon and to probe to Mars. Satellites can help in forecasting weather. On the other hand, by pressing buttons, the seeds can be bombarded. Science has taken us into the bowels of earth.
Some people think that there is nothing special about science. Huxley the great worshipper of science said, "Science is simply common sense at its best, i.e. rigidly accurate in observations and merciless to fallacy in logic". Charles Mackey has praised Science in one of his poems. He says that " Earth seems to be old and cold ". Science discovered " The world was young " and taught a language to it's lipsing tongue. Fairy tales of science are more interesting than anything else.
